Brian Alumbaugh joined East Central Community College in 2026 as head coach of the Lady Warrior soccer program.
Alumbaugh arrived at ECCC with extensive coaching experience spanning the collegiate, club, and international levels. Prior to joining the Warriors, he coached within the ECNL Regional League with Nationals Soccer Club in Rochester, Mich., where he focused on player development and college recruitment preparation for aspiring collegiate student-athletes.
Before his time with Nationals Soccer Club, Alumbaugh served as head men's soccer coach at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, Mich. There, he built the program from its inception and quickly established it as one of the top programs in the region. Under his leadership, the Skippers captured conference, regional, and district championships while earning the program's first appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament. In just the program's second season, St. Clair finished ranked No. 11 in the final NJCAA Division II national poll. He also helped numerous student-athletes continue their careers at four-year institutions, including several NCAA Division I programs.
His coaching career has also included positions with Rochester Soccer Club, Muskingum University in Ohio, and Leknes FK in Norway.
As a player, Alumbaugh competed at the NCAA Division I level for Long Island University and Michigan State University before completing his collegiate career at Robert Morris University. Following college, he continued his playing career professionally with Eastern Suburbs AFC in New Zealand and in Norway with Finnsnes IL and Leknes FK.
Alumbaugh earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from Michigan State University, a graduate certificate in organizational leadership from Robert Morris University, and a Master of Arts in adult education from Muskingum University.
