Wesson, Miss. — East Central Community College fell 28–3 to Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Thursday night at Stone Stadium.
The Warriors struck first when kicker Connor Mullins connected on a 41-yard field goal midway through the opening quarter, capping a 70-yard drive to give ECCC a 3–0 lead. From there, the Wolfpack's offense took control, scoring touchdowns in each quarter to pull away.
Quarterback Brady Hammonds completed 20 of 32 passes for 165 yards, with Gabriel Bobbitt leading the receivers with five catches for 64 yards. On defense, Wildrekus Johnson tallied a team-high nine tackles, while Jalen Anderson added an interception returned 15 yards.
East Central moves to 2–6 overall and 1–3 in MACCC South Division play. The Warriors will return home next Thursday, Oct. 30, to host an in-state opponent at 6:30 p.m. at Bailey Stadium.
