DECATUR, Miss. — The East Central Community College volleyball team has officially clinched a postseason berth and will host a home playoff match in its inaugural season.

The Warriors closed the regular season with a winning overall record and a 9-7 mark in conference play, earning a solo fourth-place finish in the MACCC standings. The strong debut campaign secures East Central a home match in the MACCC/NJCAA Region 23 Quarterfinals.

East Central will host Itawamba Community College on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. inside Founders Gymnasium on Community Bank Court in Decatur.

The appearance marks a historic milestone for the first-year program as the Warriors continue to make their mark among the MACCC's top contenders.
