  • Warrior Soccer Falls 3-1 at Northwest

    The East Central Lady Warriors qualified for postseason play in their final MACJC North Division soccer match of the season with a 3-1 road win over Northwest in Senatobia on Oct. 15. The ECCC Warriors will have to wait until Oct. 17 to learn their postseason fate after falling 3-1 to the Northwest Rangers in the second match of the afternoon.

    Oxford College of Emory University scored two goals in the first half and three more in the second to pick up at 5-1 soccer win over the East Central Community College Warriors on Sunday, Oct. 13, at Bailey Stadium on the ECCC campus in Decatur.

    A goal in the 49th minute propelled the East Central Lady Warriors to a 1-0 win over the visiting Hinds Lady Eagles, while the Warriors dropped a 4-1 match to MACJC North Division-leading Hinds in matches played Friday, Oct. 11, at Bailey Stadium on the ECCC campus in Decatur.

    The East Central Community College Warriors got a goal in each half en route to a 2-1 MACJC North Division soccer win over the Itawamba Indians Tuesday, Oct. 8, at the Soccer Pitch in Decatur. In the first match of the day, the ECCC Lady Warriors lost 1-0 to Itawamba in two overtimes. 
  • Warrior Soccer Tops Holmes 3-1 in North Division Match

    The East Central Warriors defeated the homestanding Holmes Bulldogs 3-1 in soccer action Friday, Oct. 4, to take over sole possession of third place in the MACJC North Division standings. In the women?s match, the No. 17 ranked Holmes Lady Bulldogs defeated the East Central Lady Warriors 6-0.

    The East Central Community College Warrior soccer team defeated the Andrew College Fighting Tigers 2-0 Tuesday, Oct. 1, and in doing so snapped a four-match losing streak and picked up their first shutout of the season.

    The Jones College Bobcats grabbed a 5-0 win over the East Central Warriors in the opening match of the evening, and the Lady Bobcats followed with a 2-1 win over the East Central Lady Warriors in MACJC non-division soccer action Friday night, Sept. 27, at Bailey Stadium on the ECCC campus in Decatur.
  • Warriors Drop Home Soccer Match to Gulf Coast

    Sophomore forward Leah Anderson picked up her second hat trick of the season to help the East Central Community College Lady Warriors get back in the winning column with a 5-1 non-division soccer victory over Gulf Coast Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Soccer Pitch in Decatur. In the men’s action that followed, the Gulf Coast Bulldogs defeated East Central 4-0.

    Behind two goals from sophomore Leah Anderson, the East Central Community College Lady Warriors got into the win column in MACJC North Division soccer play with a 3-0 victory at Hinds on Tuesday, Sept. 10. The Warriors lost another heartbreaking match in the nightcap with a 2-1 double overtime loss to the Hinds Eagles.
