PERKINSTON, Miss. — The East Central Community College Warriors fell 27–3 to unbeaten Mississippi Gulf Coast on Thursday night at A.L. May Memorial Stadium in Perkinston.
The Warriors struck early in the second quarter with a 39-yard field goal by Connor Mullins to make it a one-score game at 10–3, but the Bulldogs pulled away with two third-quarter touchdowns.
Quarterback Brady Hammonds went 22-of-37 for 154 yards, with Jaquel Dukes leading the receiving corps with 62 yards on four catches, including a 45-yard gain. Mekhi Gaddis paced the rushing attack with 39 yards on six carries, while Keoni Denny and Kristian Dillar each tallied eight tackles to lead the defense. Dillar also added an interception.
