Decatur--- The Warriors will take the long trip to Bonneville, MS, on Thursday night to take on the Northeast Tigers. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM, and the game will air on the ECCC's Gold Channel with Phillip Palmertree and Mark Beasley on the call. Coming into year two for Head Coach Jonathan Webster, there is excitement for the 2024 season.

In last year's matchup, East Central and #9 Northeast went to overtime here in Decatur, with the Warriors taking an upset win 28-21 after a late Touchdown pass by 2023 All-MACCC quarterback Chris Tucker, who is returning as a signal caller for the Warriors. The loss ended the Tiger's five-game win streak last season. This year's matchup is the season opener for both teams.

For Warrior fans making the trip, tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10 on Thursday.
