2023 Baseball MVP Showcase
January 21, 2023
$100 (paid the day of camp)
Participants need to bring all relevant equipment
The East Central baseball staff continues to build a program that strives to compete on the national level. Upon taking the helm, Coach Holliman and his staff have continually upgraded the facilities along with the talent level on a yearly basis. 2022 was another productive as East Central advanced to the postseason for the 12th consecutive year, which is more than any other school in the conference, and finished as the NJCAA Region 23 runners-up.
Seven players advanced to the next level with three signing Division I scholarships, two signing Division II scholarships, and two signing an NAIA scholarship. In 2013, the Warriors captured their third conference championship and shortstop Tim Anderson was selected the 17th overall pick by the Chicago White Sox during the 2013 Major League Draft. Six Warrior players have been selected in the Major League Draft over the past eight years. In the past 15 years, ECCC baseball has competed in a championship game six times, four conference and two regional. No other team in this league has competed in more during that span.
The upcoming showcase is based on targeting talented athletes from the Classes of 2023-2026 who have either been recommended or spotted as viable prospects or both. We encourage each of you to take advantage of this opportunity and to take a closer look at our baseball program and college.
Pre-registration is encouraged due to the limited space available. The registration fee for the showcase is $100 per player. Final check-in and registration will take place on January 21 beginning at 9 a.m.
